The first lorry load of concrete arrived on site for the Solas Bhride Centre and Hermitages. Mary, Phil and Rita donned the hard helmets and high visibility vests as they went on site to place a St. Brigid’s cross in the foundation as the first bucket of concrete was poured. The foreman, Steve, said he attributed the good weather conditions for construction, to St. Brigid!
