The Celtic year is a journey from “darkness into light.” Samhain traditionally marked the beginning of the The Celtic Year.

It is at this time, when darkness overtakes the light, that the Christian Community celebrates the feasts of All Saints and All Souls.

Samhain with all its strangeness and mystery carries within it, the notion of casting out the old and moving into the new.  May we recognise the neglected dimensions of our lives and allow the Light of the invisible world to gently balance and heal us.

         May God prosper us all
