The invitation of Advent is to “re-pent” but some would maintain the actual Greek translation is to “re-think”. The discoveries of science today are astounding and provide us with a new understanding of creation. Weare now challenged to re-think our images of God and to realizing that our expanding cosmos is infused and alive with divinity and has been from the beginning.

“From all eternity the whole universe is made for Christ. The whole thing is about love, from 14 billion years ago, to the emergence of the human person, to the incarnation in Jesus Christ. It is love being stressed all along, divine love all through cosmic history.”
