We have forgotten that we ourselves are dust of the earth (cf. Gen 2:7); our very bodies are made up of her elements, we breathe her air, and we receive life and refreshment from her waters.”
Laudato Si on Care for our Common Home.
We invite you to a reflection day on the theme of Hope and Action with Creation.
We will explore the theme through input, meditation, poetry, music, and quiet reflection.
A change of perception is essential if we are to truly hope and act with creation. We will draw inspiration from St. Brigid, who in keeping with her Celtic tradition, was wonderfully attuned to nature and the seasons.
“We are beginning to recover a sense that the simple act of gazing, of paying attention … can open up a space in the soul, a space in which the world may live and move in us. And that we are being called to renew our commitment to this work – for the sake of the world.”
